Ok, ok. So maybe the pizza pan DIY’s are over done. But just hear me out for a second. This little pizza pan farmhouse riser is far from looking cheap. It’s all in the styling. So if you’re looking for a little somethin somethin to spruce up your coffee table or kitchen island this Spring, give this pizza pan …I mean farmhouse riser a chance.

I started by sanding the surface of the pizza pan to give the metal a little grit for the paint to stick to. I didn’t realize this when I started but I recommend sanding down these particular knobs as well…ask me how I know. (In the video tutorial you will notice that the paint did not stick to the knobs the first time. I ended up having to sand them lightly and paint them again.)
Then I applied the faux pearl gems around the edge of the pan for a cute hobnail effect. These little gems came with adhesive on the back but I decided to reinforce them with a little dab of super glue. Better safe than sorry.
I did the same with the wooden knobs for the bottom of the tray .
Once the glue was dry, it was time for spray paint. I used what I had on hand for this step. I do recommend a paint/primer or a chalky finish paint that covers well.
I could hardly wait for the paint to dry on this pretty little riser. All that was left to do was styling, which is my favorite part! Recently I decided to bring some of my favorite types of home decor together in one beautiful little Home Goods Market. We launch in SPRING 2021!
I love this project. It was so much my favorite. I made one and want another one. But Dollar tree has not been carrying the pizza pans
