Bathroom Renovation

This room. Ohhhh this room. It has been a thorn in my side since we moved into our rental almost a year ago. Shortly after moving in I realized that there was a smell that I simply could not get out of the bathroom. A very unpleasant, bathroomy smell. I am trying not to go into too much detail, if you’re catching my drift. No pun intended. After many failed attempts to rid the smell I decided on a whim to begin ripping down wall paper.

Now that you’re all caught up, maybe you can give me a little grace on the current condition of this room. My ideas are running wild with all the potential I see for this space. If you’re new to the blog then you will quickly learn that I am a lover of all things farmhouse. I simply adore anything vintage, white, shiplap or natural wood and I am working to incorporate these elements in this room. We are working with a rather small space and can not afford a complete overhaul at the moment, so of course DIY will have to do.

Eventually I will be able to share all of our plans for faux shiplap, farmhouse paint colors, floating shelves, and maybe…just maybe I can convince my husband to let my imagination run wild with a black and white patterned floor! My heart might actually skip a beat!

Our current, outdated bathroom, but full of potential
